Roadblock.
Bad-News-Monday has got me reminding myself that things aren’t always going to go as planned and I need to continue to be patient. This morning I was counting down the minutes until 8:00 so I could call my reproductive endocrinologist’s office to schedule my HSG, fiiiiiiinally!
The receptionist answered and was telling me we would need to look at next Tuesday for availability. I was like, okay that’s Christmas, but anything for baby so if y’all will be there, we will make it happen! She didn’t realize it was Christmas. Unfortunately my doctor only has time blocked out in the hospital for tests like these on Tuesdays and I can only have this test done on certain days of my cycle.
That means I have to wait another month or more. And let me tell you, another month is soooo long in the world of fertility treatments. I asked about moving forward with our next round of Clomid in the meantime because a wasted month is so frustrating and hard to accept in times like these. Unfortunately, we can’t do that until the cyst on my right ovary has shrunk itself or ruptured.
So the game plan is to just stay positive and then we will try and do this all over again in January.
The good news is this gives us plenty of time to get our diet and exercise routines back on track after the holidays. Shane and I are thinking of hosting a diet bet in January so if you’re into those, we will be sure and share the link to sign up once we do.
As always, thank you for your kind messages, thoughts and prayers. We appreciate you all and appreciate your donations to our Baby Russell GoFundMe! One day we will be telling our sweet little ones how bad we wanted them and how many people loved and supported us through this. 💕
